Our Ministry started in 1969 under the name of Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church and under the leadership of ourlate founder, Bishop C.L. Jackson. In 1970 the church moved from 47th and Drexel and purchased a building at 8044 S. Racine, which is our present location. Because of a mighty deliverance ministry given to Bishop C.L. Jackson, the ministry grew. People were saved, set free, and delivered, and the people worked together to meet the needs of the community, and the church’s financial obligations. The members sold dinners, cakes, handmade ice-cream, snowballs, and clothes. Thereafter, Bishop C. L. Jackson received the revelation from God on the importance of paying tithes, and giving offerings,and many of the members received the engrafted word of God,and they began to prosper. In 1987 the church paid off its mortgage and set up a building fund envisioning the possibility of building a new church. Bishop C.L. Jackson preached the vision, and he empowered the members to the point where they further their education, purchased land and properties, started businesses, and started ministries.

In 1999, 80th to 81st and Racine Avenue was renamed “Bishop C.L. Jackson Way”. This honor was viewed as God giving us the territory.  This declaration was demonstrated when the choir marched around the lots located at 8053-8059 South Bishop C.L. Jackson Way in preparation for our expansion.   Not long after, the church purchased the lots. To God be the Glory!! The church was also renamed to Faith Pentecostal Holiness Deliverance Center (FPHDC) during this time. In September 2002, Bishop C.L. Jackson made his transition to glory.  The vision and legacy have continued through his son, Bishop KurtH. Jackson. Under the leadership of Bishop Kurt H. Jackson, the Ministry continues to grow in faith, knowledge, and empowerment. We have been encouraged to “Embrace Our Destiny” and operate through “Kingdom Principles” utilizing “The Sword and a Praise” which will cause us to “Get a Head in Life”. These stirring messages has resulted in our church’s Choir of Praise to record our first CD, “Embrace Your Destiny” and members taking steps of faith and developing businesses, starting ministries, and doing missions.  We have been encouraged to CONFESS what God says about us, and let every devil be a liar, but let God be TRUE!”

Like Joshua did for Moses, Bishop Kurt H. Jackson has continued and expanded the vision and led the ministry over the Jordan and procured financing for Phase 1 of our expansion project.  In 2010, the Lord blessed us to complete Phase 1 of our Building Project. The building we are currently worshipping in is truly a miracle from God. In 2015, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Kurt H. Jackson was led to change the name of the church to Abundant Harvest International Ministries. As we celebrate 50 plus years of Ministry, we give glory to God for every member, past and present, and look forward to all God will do for us and through us. As our Bishop would always say, “Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph!”
